Summary: Starting with Sept 11 a fast reaction was required.  What we had to respond with was a large ungainly Army for the purpose of warfare. Transformation was necessary…but so was buying some time to make that transformation.

The lunatic fringe wants to see a McGovern-Like Democrat party.  However the leadership is afraid it will get CREAMED big time if they do a Vietnam style cut and run pull out.  Its not an optional war like Vietnam was.   I will speak to this later but if you accept that its not optional at this point then you realize the Democrats are mud if they do what they have promised their kooky party members.  What will result when the sandal recyclers find out ??

Be honest. NO.  All see an ideal in government control from above.  Nazi stands for National Socialism.  Fascism can not be pasted on Conservatives.  It can happen again.  Watch the way you vote.

Summary: It appears there are 3 career choices in backward Islamic countries.

   1) Be a religious cleric type

   2) Be a terrorist

   3) Keep your nose down and be a normal person.   Be victimized by your own countryman. Work like a slave. Never get anywhere.

Unfortunately in this media televised world the concept of “fame” must be invading even backwards islamic countries.   That would explain career choice #2 slowly growing more popular.

There is of course a third option if you count getting out and going to the USA.  I have personally met alot of very cheery Islamic types in my masters degree at ASU.  I hope they stay cheery.  And if they stay cheery its probably in our interest to keep them.  They appeared to be of high quality.  But then you can not tell by appearances can you?  I am hoping!

Summary: Before you go to a Sci-Fi disaster movie do you take a prep course in all the hard science its premises are based on ?  Global warming is accessible in concept because of all the disaster movies that have come before. The only difference is many people actually believe this disaster movie is happening.   You should not base political decisions on just the movie. If you are going to vote a particular way you should probably get a PhD in Climate Science.  Barring that how about using the common sense test on this issue.   ( or how to beat the ebay push buy )

summary: I learn through observation both Santa Claus and Jesus have impossible tasks. Nonetheless I was born and raised in a Judeo - Christian society.  I am glad.
