Richie Rich Bill Gates, Do not make cheritable Foundations 4 your money, SPENT IT!

Cheritable organization.  It sounds like it can not possibly do harm  It sounds all warm and cuddly. There can possibly be any problems with them right? WRONG !!!

I feel that Bill Gates and others who like him establish cheritable organizations are EXTREMELY misguided to do so.

Why?  You must be thinking “What is Scrooge thinkin’ now ?!?”

Here is the explaination:

1) Have you ever seen the Douglas D and Catherine T MacArthur foundation credited on PBS for the funds to create and air programming?

2) Did you know John D. MacArthur wanted to run for president as a republican?

3) The political bent of PBS is liberal. Sometimes wildly so!

John D. MacArthor is spinning in his grave.  In fact there are several Green Energy groups advocating tapping it as a source of alternative non-polluting energy.  I am sure if he were alive today he would NOT authorize funding PBS.  In his day PBS might even have been “fair and balanced”  but today its not.

No matter how carefully you set up a cheritable trust you can never follow up on guiding its efforts once you are dead.  Setting up a trust such as this is akin to dieing at behind the wheel of your car.  It may stay on the road for a little while by happy coincidence but surely as the car goes off the road careening into pedestrians or buildings cheritable trusts will be infected by hangers-on and full on charlatans.   I get the distinct impression that there is a whole class of no good bums that parasitically infect the organizations that administer these trusts.

Is there a better answer? Yes of course!  If you are dead set on ridding your family of your money Mr Gates simply spend it!  Another equally good method would be will the money to X number of commoners.  10,000 commoners will spend the money more efficiently than 1 crummy liberal infested do gooder foundation.  Are you listening Warren Buffet ?

1) Spending it engages capitalism.  Capitalism is the single best allocator of resources every invented by mankind.  Capitalism uses the most brains on any given economic issue that can possibly be used.   If you put your money in a trust foundation you simply limit the number of brains used to a small handful versus the potential of the entire planets worth of 6 billion brains!!!

2)  Utilizing existing charities you at least KNOW what you are getting.  If they are liberal, so be it.  You made your choice and its a free society ( supposidly ) Setting up a foundation from scratch is risky business.  You never know what sociopath will infect it.

Setting up these foundations with the donors name on it are merely exercises in ego.  If you do not create a new foundation you will not get your name placed on it.  The name is the sole reason.   Do us all a favor Richie Rich…..lose the ego, lose the cheritable foundation.

Iraq,There are Similarities to Vietnam but they are not what you think

I have a theory.  It goes like this.  Nixon did some things, not too awful but still not acceptable in that he covered up. This is obstruction of justice and why both he and Clinton were tagged albeit in different ways by the acts.   However Johnson and his ballet box stuffing ways of a corrupt Texas politician were much worse.  The west maintained some wild and woolly practices alot longer than the east.  ( or not ).

My theory is that Nixon was hung out to dry because he “lost” the Vietnam War.  Because of this congress being filled with hyenas saw he was weak and could do it.  Remember these democrats are skilled in the art of show trials and palming off defacto military dictatorship as democracy.   In fact this war was lost as much by our feckless nature as by anything else.  We had the luck of the Irish on our side in that Uncle Ho really meant what he said about nationalism for Vietnam.

Here is where the similarity with Vietnam kicks in again. Again we have a feckless bunch of buttheads in congress.  All with egos that make little voices in their heads that say “you da greatest”. (  Nothing is more dangerous. See the skill vs ambition quandrant arty here:

 http://www.amarketplaceofideas.com/the-four-quandrants-of-skill-and-motivation-and-how-to-optimize-results.htm   )

Again the democrats are trying to burn a republican president at the stake. Again they are trying to lose the effort with their feckless natures.  However this time the enemy is not going to be content to see us leave.  Iraq is a proxy for the radical islamist cause.  By drawing the kooking Morman-Jews  (Mormanism is to Christianity as Islam is to Judaesm) to Iraq and focusing their energies on this Bush has made some good moves.  However one can never put anything between a democrat and political advantage because they will ride rough shod over their granny to gain the slightest sliver of advantage.  It is their full intent to see this effort lost because they know they will look good in comparison.  So little do they have.

The problem here is that radical islamism is not going to contently go about its business within its own borders when and if we pull up stakes in Iraq…. oooh noo noo.   Again the dems are going to do the country damage. This time we’ll pay a much higher price.  There is no Ho Chi Minh who whispered in ears telling the USA that all Vietnam wants is to be independent.  This time its obvious the situation is completely opposite.   We are going to face this enemy again and again regardless if we pull out of Iraq now or later.

To be sure Bush has not helped his case.  He has alienated much of his supporters by not being the conservative they wanted.   What I and most other republicans really want is the second coming of Ronald Reagan.  What we have gotten is George Bush Senior with 1/2 a testical.  ( Bush senior was a nutless wonder so 1/2 is an improvement ! )

So lets get real here George.  Give up the senior class president approach and lets skin these democrats. They look ripe for the taking.  They are ripe for a jujitsu style tripping move where their energies and movements can be used against them.  However it will require some hard headed thinking about Iraq that is NOT conventional political thinking.  You have been using the King sitting in his chair commanding the tides not to come in approach.

Here is how it should go down:

1) Reward the Kurds.  They are our real allies.  They  have EXACTLY the model needed to pull of EXACTLY what you said you wanted to do George.  Remember how you said you wanted a model economy that others can look to ?   The Kurds are doing this!  Reward them and stimulate their economy further by accidently on purpose allowing them to grab the oil fields in their region.  Refer to Career Choices in Islamo Fascism for further explaination.

2) Establish de facto military bases in Kurdistan.  Leave the minimum manpower and equipment to insure complete safty of our troops and perform the same function as in South Korea.  Any attack on Kurdistan will be interpreted as an attack on the USA’s troops and therefore by proxy an attack on the USA.

3) Use a laisse faire approach to non-cooperative locals.  Let Darwinian forces diminish those who choose violence.

None of this was ever destined to be an instant pretty TV Photo Op.  Human affairs in this part of the world are a very very dirty business.  The Arabs only seem to respect power.  Remember that although many times they appear psychotic ( probably are indeed ) they are also the ones who invented Algebra.  Like their cousin Semites the Jews they have some significant aptitudes.   They are showing significant knowledge of game theory.

In the long run we must find an effective strategy. These people are out-reproducing the western world and are not going to go away short of hydrogen bomb usage.   ( This is where I say thank god for 1 billion Indians as a population counter weight to Islams reproductive might )
