In order to be paid high wages one has to work in an area where alot of money is being spent. A more technical term would be “HIGH MONEY VELOCITY”. Money velocity is just a proxy accounting gimic. It is a proxy - that is it is representative of the amount of activity in a given area in this case.
So while there are alot of children there is not alot of activity in the education area of the economy. Why is this ?
1) Because education is not free market. Education is drown like puppies in a bag by the socialist teachers union. The NEA in an effort to protect their fair to middling and even wretched quality teachers are against any form of real reform. You with children should be afraid. These people are stalinists who if they ever got their way would be just as damaging. Luckily in this country they have fallen short of this so far.
2) Consider this. People who are having the children really don’t want to spend anything. They want to get free educations for their children. In this respect public education is damaging. Public educations reinforces the mistaken idea that education is “FREE”. Nothing is ever free. And things that are given under the “FREE” smoke screen word are NEVER appreciated.
……. If they people who are having the children don’t care enough to pay for their children’s education its simply unreasonable to expect anyone else would care more !!

Its evolution in action. Let’s work with the functional facts as they are on the ground. Now matter how much meta-Bill-Clinton says he “cares about the chilrun” the reality is he cares as much as it helps him to garner more votes. In spite of liking children the fact is I care about my children, NOT YOURS. My first order of business is to care for them. I do not have the resources to carry you or anyone else on my back.
Its simple common sense when you think about it. Take money out of your illusory world view and things will become much clearer. If everyday we have to actually go out and care for those who are disabled or old how much time do we have left over for people who are too lazy to even care about their own children ? The simple fact is not much. There are only 24 hours in a day. If you try to care for all the bums you’ll have absolutely no time to yourself and be driven to distraction. If you want to have any sort of life you have to start ignoring the panhandlers or you will go insane.
People have to take care of themselves. No matter how much Americans try to pump up their own ego with phrases like “America is the richest nation on earth, we should be able to pay teachers more” its not money that takes care of people. People do. And each one of those people only have 24 hours in a day. Don’t expect much help. Its not ever going to happen. Go out and make it happen yourself. If you want a good education for your child its up to you. And don’t expect it for free. Mainly your child buys this with their own labors, secondarily a teacher can help.
