If you are currently thinking you would like to do something about global warming you should probably get a life. I’m trying to say this in the nicest way possible. Our “Broncello” ( Brazilian term form light skinned person….literally white-ello ) societies are so devoid of societies that these super-gay activist causes seem to provide the only sense of community available here in the States. While you may not agree upon initial reading of this article that what I say is true I can tell you without a single doubt it is. I’ve spent some serious time in Brazil.
Here in Phoenix Arizona the only time you see a large group of Americans ( other than a paid sporting event ) is a breast cancer walk athon or other such activist cause. Global warming fits falls under the activist rubric and helps fill the vacuum that we as a society have in the area of community.
Brazilians are wildly social. While the number one website here in the USA is Yahoo can you guess what the number one site is in Brazil ? It is the social networking site orkut.com. You see children playing in the neighborhoods in Brazil. People are warm and friend and do not mind if a total stranger talks to them. I don’t mean some here. I mean almost EVERYONE is warm and open.
In the USA I find that is not the case. Some people enjoy to talk to strangers but alot do not. All this makes my case that there is a vacuum in the USA that people fill with whatever is available. Most people use the media and the causes in the media to fill their minds.
I was spurred to write this piece because of the push to force legislation outlawing incandescent light bulbs. The push is to replace them with compact florescent bulbs. While this might be a good idea for reasons of reducing your power bill the idea of letting the global warming crowd take any ground is repulsive to me. Their patent bullshit is hard to take. I don’t want to see them encouraged. The reality is this process will take care of itself with rising power costs. They had to hop on this issue because they want to create the illusion that they are helping.

So this activist is using the part of the space he takes up in your brain to bend you to his will. To condition you to feel a part of this “community”. However I feel its my responsibility to tell you these activist communities are very poor substitutes for the real thing. I can tell you this because nowadays I feel my home is Brazil and that I am in the USA only to work. This situation arranged itself by virtue of the traits of the two societies.

With all the articles that have been written lately its evident the activists are trying to brain wash the children so they can control their minds on this issue when they are grown up. I think it will have the opposite effect. These people are going to be hopping mad when they find out what kind of crap has been feed into their brains.
