How fastidious is the USA going to become?  Are we to go completely numb in the head?  We don’t want our children seeing someone smoke.  Nevermind the Iranians are developing nukes that could incinerate several million people at a wack…..nooooooo……we’re worried about smoking.

The fact is if a person is weak enough minded to want to smoke for having seen someone in a movie having done it we are better off with them taking the Darwinian way out.  We as a race have survived ice ages and beyond.  Is there no limit to the amount of politics that the simple minded will lap up ?

What’s my view of the average conservative / normal voter versus liberal voter ?

Average conservative: Has a real job that they are dedicated to.  A generally constructive group that actually builds something.  We are talking about people with REAL degrees here, not some liberal arts or teaching degree.

Average liberal: Not generally a person with a real degree. Could not build anything.  Liberal arts or english degrees.

To carry this down to the undegreed unwashed masses I see liberals as people who claim to be peaceful but only for reasons of gain.  Why is it when you see vandalism that its only in a theme that suggests its only liberals doing the defacing?  Case in point the Rush Limbaugh billboard that was defaced with paint.

This isn’t limited to the USA.  In France when the liberal ( Socialist ) candidate Marie-Ségolène Royal saw that the polls were looking bad for her she “predicted” there “could be” riots.  This was a thinly veiled threat that if you don’t vote for her that some of her supporters would go wild destroying things.  In fact when she lost about 700 cars were burnt.  Even if the riots were eminent what kind of leader encourages a riot by saying such a thing ?   A liberal / socialist one.

When it gets right down to it  liberals tend to be narcissistic.  They think they are the “good hearted” people that can do no wrong and that they have some sort of unseen midas touch. This thinking leads them to do any number of destructive acts.  When the level of their legislative power is not as high as they think it should be they will do anything to restore conditions where it matches their grandiose view of themselves.

I have to tell you as an engineer with a definite bias towards building I do not have any respect for liberals.  All they seem to know how to do is destroy, extort and fabricate tales global warming.   Ronald Reagan used to say that any jackass can kick down a barn, it takes a carpenter to build one.  I have never seen a liberal build a barn.  Have you ? But to compare jackasses to liberals is unfair.  I think donkeys are lovable creatures.
