Talk Radio-Too Many Commercials-Will it Put Itself out of Business?

Every time I tune in to Rush Limbaugh on KFYI in Phoenix Az the highest probability is that there will be a commercial playing.  Here is my algorithm when tuning in:

1- flip on radio

2- if I hear Rush Limbaugh talking I listen till the next commercial then turn off the radio

3- if I hear a commercial I turn the radio off.  Its a crap shoot as to whether I turn it back on again.

If they want to keep listeners they are going to have to reduce the number of commercials.  At some point I will cease the above algorithmic behavior if the commercials go to some reasonable level and just leave the radio on.  If KFYI does not adjust this I will maintain my listenership at the almost dead level.

Its either this or more creative embedded commercials that are not so grating on the nerves.  I do not know which will be more economically viable because the commercials quality will have to improve so much that it will cost a significant amount of money.

Motley Fool Articles are not Very Good-I like TheStreet.com Much More

Motley Fool articles all seem to be backwards looking.  If I could buy yesterdays stock and sell it today I’d be in great shape with this approach.  Unfortunately that is not how it works.  You only profit on stocks that you buy today and sell tomorrow.  Thus TheStreet.com and Stockpickr.com are much more helpful.
