Maybe He is Stupid - George Bush Running Open Loop Shows Us He is No Ronald Reagan
Friday, June 1st, 2007
I’ve always resisted the liberals / socialists / communists that have said that George Bush was stupid. From my world view liberals / communists / socialists are by definition stupide themselves and thus are not tooled up for being able to decide ANYONE is mentally challenged. Anyone who buys that sappy crap that is the product liberalism sells can’t have too much on the intellectual ball. Thus in any case whether George Bush is stupid or smarter than Einstein I’ve always felt their opinion was a NO-OP.
However now that we’ve heard from the president on “immigration reform” I’m starting to wonder if the libs have and a fender-bender with the truth. George managed to say that we who are against this cluster fudge with peanuts included are “stupid”, “bigoted” and an assortment of other pejoratives. This of course addressed towards the people who voted for him and supported him through the Iraq war. Its enough to make you think he is a little slow.
Let’s analyze my position. I am against the immigration bill and indeed a bill of any type. Rather than let a bunch of would-be democrats into the country to vote I prefer to ignore the problem and withhold the vote. Thus after putting in their dues and having their children here they can influence this country by their presence and by their children growing up and voting.
It only makes sense. If these people knew and pushed for democracy we’d all be flooding into Mexico because ITS economy would be the dynamo creating jobs and making it a good place to live. Obviously they do not. Mexico is run like some sort of private kingdom for a ruling elite to the extreme. I think its only reasonable to withhold the vote until their children grow up and get the vote as full U.S. citizens.
In addition it does not reward and encourage others to follow to wait for the next amnesty to occur.
And in all this we can see Bush is no Ronald Reagan. Once he tried to partake of that legacy. I at one time had hopes. The legacy he takes after is his fathers. One of ineffective flimsy liberalism ensconced in a conservative disguise.
Its these type of republicans that I wish would just join the democrat party. Their deception dilutes the conservatives. This is because for even when our candidate gets in we can’t be sure he won’t spend like a drunken sailor. Reagan had an excuse, he had the congress of the Fat-Bag Tip ONeill. George Bush had the advantage of a republican congress and still blew it.
