Canada cuts power lines to battle cannabis
To summarize the Gov’t of BC has the electric company going around making flimsy excuses to cut the power to homes who use larger than normal amounts of power. This is done under the assumption that anyone using more than standard power is growing pot.
Of course my glass casting kiln would cause me a problem there. It draws 45 amps at 240 volts.
Never mind that anyone who has ever smoked marijuana can tell you there is no earthly reason why it should be illegal. Is it because it would be too cheap and and easy to grow maknig it tough to tax? Most likely something like this. Marijuana is a drug in the sense that beer is a drug. Only an idiot or something who has not tried it could believe otherwise.
We live in such a crude state of affairs. Everyone thinks we need to get in everyone elses business and tell them what to do and what not to do.
