I talked with a neighbor once about credit card collections.  She was black and a close friend. She intimated that at times nonperforming debt is often sold to other companies for pennies on the dollar.  Some of the most successful companies in that field are black thugs as she put it.  They get your social security number and then go to town.  Alot of them do not restrict their efforts to legal methods.

Take Away? - Pay your debts.  Its the right thing to do anyway.

While Hillary has people mostly in the press thinking this thing is a lock I think otherwise.  I think Obama is the much more likable figure.  The democrat nominating process is on a knife’s edge that could go either way.  Certainly Obama is going to get his chance.  In the mean time he needs to hone his skills as a candidate.  He’s got some obvious weaknesses that need ALOT of patching.  But overall he presents a very likable figure.   He should not expect my vote unless hell freezes over but I’m willing to admit the obvious.  I’d like to have beer with him.   However no amount of patching of his policies will result in my agreeing with his warmed over brotherist brand of socialism.

Just to make this clear I think Obamas got a 50% - 50% chance of being the democrat nominee.  If the dem’s were smart ( which they are not or they would not be dem’s ) they would nominate him.  He can make alot of mistakes and get away with it due to his likable presentation.

Don’t get me wrong.  I think Democrats by and large are weak candidates.   ( that includes Bill Clinton after all who did he have to run against….NOT Reagan! )

By the way Barrack is not black. He is not white. So stop calling him a negro. The term does not apply to him. In addition its only important from the fact too many people THINK he is black.

Heard a knock on the door today as I was doing some naked computer work.  Quickly threw on my shorts.  The Nor-Weggy ( Norwegian engineering students ) were standing out in front of my casita. 

They wanted to talk to someone as they felt bad because the previous night they had been robbed.  Cameras, Ipod even some tee-shirts.  

Thus now, since I am computer-centric, I will have to live with the worry that my link to the outer world will be stolen.  Irriatating to say the least.

Then I realized this is the liberal idiom.  Keep the people on the bottom right where they are. Keep the thinking there is a magic government dollar that magically arrives with no one suffering because it was taken from them. 

If you ever think these ”magic dollars” were taken from the Rich think again.  The rich are the equivalent of the kings of old.  You, if you are middle or lower class are the serfs of feudalism.   

In the days of feudalism when a dollar was given to someone via the route of government do you REALLY think it was from the kings coffers?  The kings coffers are only a pool of money confiscated from the king pimping you out.  If you are a liberal you are only what I would call and ultra-capitalist.  You live in a dellusional world where you think some day you will be king and possibly you can go around pimping everyone out.  But there is only ever few kings so what are the probabilities of this?  Your probabilities are friendly neighbors of ZERO.

This is why I say now days that the conservatives are the true liberals.  We are the ones wanting to rip down the empire. To change it to something away from what it is now.  Where the sneak thief lawyers rip your valuables from right in front of your eyes.  

We always hear its for the “chilrun” … tax this for the chilrun, tax that for the chilrun.  How much of this do you think really goes to the chilrun?  And with this last sentence you know why I think liberals are socially retarded if they believe their crap.  On the other hand if liberals are highly place they are worse….they are sociopathic.  Pretty much covers all politicians.   I hope someday we can transform our society into one that runs on internet representation.  No congress please.  They’re nothing but a bunch of horny ally cats and George Bush only knows how to deal with them by spend spend spending.

2- it does not cork like a stopper into your ear. very comfortable. If any loud noises come through its not forced directly into your ear canal.

3- the boom is adjustable using a ball joint at the root.  Thus you are not struggling to bend a flexible boom that keeps bending back to original position

4- has a USB adapter. You can use this for VOIP / Skype or your cordless home phone.

Only drawback is that it does have a cord.  But that allows you to save some money as this unit is only 50 USD.

First solar FSLR is up big today, Nov 8,2007. Its scaling its Cadmium Telluride solar cell production up and have beaten profit expectations by a wide margin.  Their current cost per watt is approximately 1.19 dollar per watt.  That is a vital number that is much better than past attempts at solar generation.   The stock jumped from approximately 170 to 220 today.  While the stockmarket can be rather faddish my studies of this company indicate that its at least a partial truth.

NanoSolar is developing methods to print solar cells onto ribbons and surfaces of roofing materials.

Next factor in the Chevy Volt electric plug in hybrid.  This car intended for release in 2010 at a price point of approximately 30,000 dollars is intended to run solely on batteries for the first 40 miles.  40 miles is a critical number because most people only drive 40 miles or less in their daily commute. Thus it can make a sizable dent in gasoline usage.  Personally for years I’ve noticed I do about 10,000 - 15,000 miles per year. This translates to an average of 30 to 41 miles per day. 

The Volt is a serial hybrid which means it has unlimited range. This is because it has a standard old fashioned combustion engine generator onboard to allow you to recharge from onboard petro fuel.  Thus you don’t have to own 2 cars. In the past if you had solely electric you had to think otherwise if you wanted to drive across the nation or even just your state of residence. This is because you could only go as far as your battery charge would allow.  With an onboard generator you can run just like the good old days with gas on the long trips.  On the short trips you can go with pure electric.  This is a much better usage of design parameters than the Prius hybrid.  Equivalent costs of electricity are quoted at about 50 cents per gallon.  In reality I think you can look for this to go up if this type of design finds widespread usage.  I think that is inevitable given the commodities boom we have been having.  That being said your car will effectively be running off of coal / natural gas / nuclear that is mined and generated in the USA.  Thus its very likely that trade deficits we have been running will diminish significantly.

These 2 items alone suggest a coming revolution in energy generation and equally important in usage.  When the changes come they will hit fast.  When they do an added benefit is the large cities will experience air that is alot cleaner than it has been in years. 

Don’t expect the MMGW ( man made global warming ) true believers to shut up.  The reality is theirs is an agenda based not on laws of physics.  Theirs is a socialist agenda where they can have the control of Stalin over our lives by pinching the generation of energy like an astronauts air feed.   Unfortunately they will keep piping for their lust for power is bottomless. When alternative energy sources are common and oil is a thing of the past you should expect this gargantuan money - fear machine will hype up another made up cause.
