Do not trust skype VOIP phone service with your credit card information

Thursday, January 14th, 2010

Over a year and a half ago I used my credit card to buy some skype calling credit for my Brazilian girlfriend.  I clicked on the 1 time only setup and even forced the system to ask for a password for my credit card.  A year after this supposedly one time only payment my now exgirlfriend started using skype alot and ended up that skype charged the calls to this same credit card.

Skype is a slippery company that can not be trusted.  Under no circumstances trust them with any information that can be used to automatically bill you.
