Every generation of people that pass across the face of the Earth feel that they are different in some way from the past waves of humanity.   The politician of today imagines they have tools to control the economy that they did not have in 1929.  They imagine they can stave off bad economic symtoms and diseases using fiscal manipulations of their profligate spending and federal reserve policy.    I imagine in 1929 they thought they were more sophisticated than in 1850 also.

                         Each generation thinks it invented music, sex and the stock market.   With 100 percent certainty we are not different than previous generations.  Only our technology has changed a bit.  Thus is there any possibility that the stimulus bail out package will work?  

The very fact that they are not able to predict economic problems indicates their understanding of the system is insufficient.  When I understand a system I can predict its behavior.   Our government is clueless. Thus our government is performing brain surgery with a 12 gauge gun.  The current financial crisis is causing our government to attempt manipulations on a scale never seen.  However large they may be they are not any different than things tried in the past.  As Einstein said it does not take talent to make something bigger.   When George Bush warned about  "too much government in markets"  he was correct.   He could have used the old phrase "too many cooks in the kitchen" and made his point more effectively.  The government is not only too many cooks but the wrong bad cook that likes to sprinkle arsenic in the soup.

We think we are different.  Everybody in the past has thought the same thing.  Its a natural human mode of thought.    From this perspective it is almost certain the stimulus bail out package will not work.  On the contrary it is likely to slow any improvement in conditions.  In a set of conditions we are under the normal political response is guaranteed to be the wrong one.  If history is a guide whatever the politicians do is going to be the wrong under this set of conditions.

After all is said and done SOMEONE has all the money that the companies needing bail outs lost.  Should we not be following them?  They made the correct moves.  Instead we are subsidizing the losers.  We are wiping the ledger clean for them.  The distributed accounting ledger that is our money system will lose its memory if they dilute our currency sufficiently. 

But politicians do what politicians do.  They have responded reflexively.   I imagine there is nothing that can be done.  It appears to be unfolding unconsciously.  Like a doppleganger zombie they shuffle.  If they were the least bit awake their solutions would have a hint of creativity.  I have spotted absolutely none.

In this situation we are better off doing nothing.  Try telling a political zombie that. 

People are suggesting that by not changing conservatives will fail. As per the book “The 48 Laws of Power” the only way you fail is by not being successful in the effort to feed your armies. In this case voters = armies. We need to architect a type of capitalism that also educates. Thus as the voter learns he prospers. As he prospers others see. As others see it they are drawn in. All movements that grow do this:

1. ancient armies ran on rape, pillage and plunder
2.  In the case of NAZI Germany the business model was to dehumanize Jews and steal even the gold fillings in their mouths to pay the miscreants.
3. The democrats business model is obvious. Plunder where advantageous. Cigarettes were only the devil when in the 1980’s they started contributing to republicans only.  They were then exploitable. 

If you want conservatism to prosper you need a business model. Fortunately we live in an era of fast flowing information. Thus I suggest there is a positive business model that will not include the larceny of the old ways. Its going to require a grass roots internet organization because its almost inherent that a top down model results in distortion of the libertarian capitalist model.  I can feel this is possible.  We are going into an era of technology which will enable many things including engineering of ourselves.  Intellectual property rights along with world wide collaboration should enable this. 

The good guys who play honestly need a gang also.

Old Chicken was invited by Bush to sit in on the economic forum.  He turned it down as its a risk to his power. He wants to play out the rest of Bush’s term to burn up the monthes in between as he waits and hopes for recovery. He does not love this country he loves the power.

Say what you want about Bush he has not been afraid to take the slings and arrows.  In comparison Obama already looks small.   He does not want anything to diminish his precious.  In this lust for power the first symtoms of a gollum are betrayed.   Before its over he will regret this decision.  It is not going to be a short or mild recession.   The steps being taken by the politicians are just going to make things worse.  The market is trying to tell us something but we are not collectively listening yet.    So much like health issues that get ignored its going to fester.

From my personal point of view I am glad he is doing the hot potato routine.  It means less time for him to do anything.  Doing nothing is preferable to what he wants to do.  Indeed it is likely the best strategy.  It has gone beyond the limits of current understanding.  This however does not negate the fact Obama is a mirror gazing coward.

So here is what you are really going to get with a B.O. presidency:

1. Distract you with the talk of the dog the family will get
2. avoid responsibility as much as possible on the economy - when / if the economy comes back take credit
3. try to get more bailout spending so he can direct it the way he wants

What is new about this?  Sounds just like every other democrat.  Worried about the baksheesh and not the country as a whole.

What you probably think happened: They tossed Tod and Sarah a wad of cash or credit card - then they sped off to Neiman Marcus to shop like crazy.  This is your greedy imagination running wild.  Not plausible.  Where were the reports from Neiman Marcus showing Palin trying on cloths?  Is it possible she could have gotten in and out without being seen? Unlikely

What probably happened:  Palin time would have been incredibly precious.  Given that ~ 2.4 billion was spent and she was on the campaign for 12 ish weeks that would place her time value at about 5,000 dollars per minute.  ( 2.4 Billion / num minutes in 12 weeks / 4 persons-McCain&Palin&Obama&Biden ).   Staff personel was sent out to buy  the clothing

What you probably think happened:  When the Campaign ended Palin grabbed all the cloths and ran home to Alaska.

What probably happened:  Clothing is dense.  If you pack a suit case solid with cloths it is very heavy.  Without some sort of help like a truck and personel you do not move this quantity of stuff.   She described it in a recent report as "residing in the belly of the plane".   Sounds more plausible.

What you think happened:  She is a temperamental Diva that did not want to prepare for interviews.  She is stupid.

What really happened:  If the way McCain performed is any indication the staffers are not the best.  McCain was singularly wooden.  He never really fought for the presidency.  In his heart this man is a senator.  Senator’s aids are not likely to be the same as presidential ones.  These are limited people that Palin would have innately sensed were very limited in their talent.  I am sure she felt she was being restrained and a competitor like Palin would have chaffed at this.  You do not hitch a fine race horse to a shabby wooden cart and expect them to be totally happy.  Take away?  Any one on the McCain campaign should never be hired again.  Not only are they limited and incompetent they try to shift the blame for their short comings.

Whether you like or dislike McCain / Palin is not the issue here.   A little critical thinking makes it clear that the Palin rumor campaign is false.  It dismays me that the populace lacks the critical thinking skills to see through this sort of story.  They are used all the time.  Its dangerous for democracy.

All these stories bubbling up about Sarah Palin are very unlikely sounding.  First of all….wouldn’t staffers be running out to buy the clothes?  From various accounts I take this to be the case.   The bubblehead theory does not wash with what I saw of her.  And where do the divas you know all want to live? Right. New York City.  I am going to guess all the divas in Wasilla moved away shortly after 18 years of age.    If she’s so dumb, incapable and such a political joke, why do all the rabid lefties get into such a lather at the thought of her.   Their derangement was obvious.   Even old horse Peggy Noonan joined in on a premature rant.  This was before any of these confected stories.   They kept Palin on a short leash the entire campaign but we are to believe they could not reason with her. Too many conflicts occur in this depiction of her for it to be credible.  

What about wearing a towel when the staffers came by?  Highlighted as some sort of issue this particular point really puts the lie to this smear campaign.  So much so I feel I must bullet point the arguments.

1. Who cares?  The campaign was long hard boring work.  Why worry about a such an incident?
2. How uptight do you have to be to think this is some sort of issue? — Clearly its not about being uptight.  It was thrown in for effect.
3. The kitchen sink is being tossed in.   Why add this point unless you are trying to directly accomplish some sort of goal ?
4. Did the staffers not get to know her very well?  Were they not there to help her manage time?  A towel would not be the worry. ( unless she looked like Madelaine Albright …but only for the staffers stomach )
5. Who would even ask or be interested about this other than teenage boys with masturbatory fantasies of her?  The nudity angle makes the story stick more.   Obvious attempt to make people remember the story.  Why would it be important people remember?  Its only important if you want it to be remembered for a reason.
6. Obviously snarky attack

It is always amazing to me what portrayals people will swallow.  Obama spent 700,000 on a Greek temple set for a single speech.  Who asks about this?   Talk about a jackass idea.  SHAZAM.

 So I am left asking "Who benefits? What is the motivation for leaking these stories? McCains already lost.  However staffers have to find jobs and McCain probably presumes to be the titular leader of the republican party.  I rule out the idea he will run again.  His candidacy and speaking abilities were senatorial to a fault.  That is to say bad.  Thus we must ask who wants her hobbled so they can be the republican nominee in 2012?   Or is some sort of  Democrat party influence  being use to pay for her smear campaign?   If she runs in 2012 she will dismantle Obama like a frog being dissected in biology class.  Hear me now believe me later.   Obama clearly would not want to run against such a natural talent as her.   She is a definite front runner and outshines even Obama in her speaking because she actually connects with people.  Obama clearly does not connect while still being a good speaker.  He is quite a cold fish. 

I saw the point somewhere that Washington D.C. is an insiders club.  They do not want any person disrupting the place.  Sounds paranoid until you factor in this story because even if every word of these stories about Palin were true they still do not add up to a fake Greek temple.

Do not let this discourage you Sarah. If you want to run in 2012 then do it.  I can tell you with certainty you will be the nominee.  I can also tell you with certainty you will beat Obama.   Your authenticity will be felt even if most people are unequipped to detect the presence of the lie being told about you.

?So what am I not being shown?  I found the following:

Republican strategist Tony Fabrizio said Palin is not the frontrunner for the Republican nomination in 2012.   This is telling.  She is very obviously the front runner for 2012.  He noted in particular some revelations uncovered by the news media during what amounted to a public vetting of her record once she was picked by McCain.   This makes me think that one of the republicans who want to run in 2012 and the McCain staff members are putting this out.  They must really see her as a threat.   One of Fabrizio’s quotes is: "All the intensity of conservatives does not matter if you lose 15% of independents.  Yet one Ronald Reagan is worth 20 of the moderate republicans.  And since when is a moderate republican ever been inspiring?  NEVER.  One of the bullet points on Fabrizios resume is as follows:

             Advised over a dozen US senators, more than twenty members of Congress, and served as a pollster for the Republican National Committee, National Republican Senatorial Committee, and National Republican Congressional Committee.
 

This one makes more sense than the Obama theory.  The other republican contenders know they will not be able to beat her head on.  Thus they are trying to sabotage her.   So now the question is:  Who is behind this well orchestrated smear campaign?

Watch the staffers from the McCain campaign and who they work for in 2012.  That’s probably who is behind it.  His likely confederate is the "wealthy donor".   He probably is a supporter cohort of the 2012 candidate.  This plot was probably a rapidly hatched effort after McCain selected her for the vice president position.  Some sort of smear may have been on the cards regardless of who was chosen.  Candidate X wants to run in 2012 and does not want the bother of a strong candidate to slow him down.  These people are telling their stories from the shadows and thus are in a convenient position to portray what happened from any point of view true or not.

 Obama’s ignorance and arrogance is breathtaking.  His plans for abuse of power are manifold.  The twisting of the market all beyond impractical.  He thinks taxing coal so highly will generate money for alternatives. That’s stupid.  It will cripple the economy.  What this will do is bankrupt in the government of the USA. 

Thus I conclude this should be his first step after taking office.  Cripple the government so he can’t implement his bizarre plans.

Obama thinks we need a civil defense force inside the USA as  big and as well funded as the Armed forces of the USA.  I would like to think this is an innocent mistake on the part of liberals.  I would like to think they do not know what they are asking for.  Unfortunately I think they do.   This force would naturally be staffed with correct thinking liberals.  With the 500,000 number I heard Obama bandy about its hard to imagine the recruiting not reaching into cultures and people who are solely in it for themselves and what they can gain.  The abuses will be horrific.  One gets the idea he is calling for the armed take over of the nation by the left and including a large number of blacks.  The violent radicals of the type Bill Ayers is combined with down scale street hood blacks would be a bad combination to lead the country.

No doubt this National Socialist police force of Brown Shirts will tend to help the Obama left’s agenda.  You "progressives" should consult your history books to see if you are really all that progressive.  Likely "regressives" are a more likely term for you.  Remember "Arbeit Macht Frei!".   ALL ABOARD!
 

Which of the following options is better

1. Electing John McCain and ignoring him for four years.  All the while hoping he thwarts the crazy schemes of the democrat congress.
2. Electing Barack Obama and having a good portion of the electorate worship him because its stylish to be black.  All the while he will be implementing congresses and his socialist wet dreams.

I think its easy because I’m atheist.  I do not worship anything or anybody.   I am much better at ignoring than worshipping.   I’ll get really tired of the MSM trying to use the electronic reeducation box to try to reprogram me to hope and believe.

The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.
