Amp-Games.com is it a front for accepting fraudulent credit card purchases of 4.95 Dollar?

Saturday, February 6th, 2010

A friend recently found that his credit card was already used on a existing PayPal account.  Thus he could not add this credit card to his existing account.  Upon review of his credit card bill several purchases for approximately 5 dollars appear randomly over the past year from various websites.  One of the sites is Amp-Games.com.  If you look up Amp-Games.com on Alexa you will see that it has no traffic numbers.  In order to have no traffic numbers it has to have almost nonexistant traffic.  Thus here is what I theorize is happening.

  1. Joe Blow sets many many websites where he can sell some stupid game software like on Amp-Games.com.  The idea is to deliver an electronic product that you can claim is not bogus.
  2. Joe then hacks or gets a big list of credit card numbers.
  3. Joe uses this credit card info to set up a PayPal accounts.
  4. Joe goes to a coffee shop off site and makes purchases from his websites using paypal accounts.  Now he can just say he receives money for a legitimate purpose. It is not HIS fault someone used a fraudulant credit card transaction.
  5. Since it is only 5 bucks most people will not even notice the charge on their account
  6. If you read the user agreement Amp-Games.com you will see: Refund Policy – We guarantee a full refund of purchase made on our website if the customer is not satisfied with the quality of the product or has additional requirements. The refund is processed within 2 business days.  …………..Thus if anybody sees the charge on their credit card bill and complains they just give the money back.

If I was a scoundrel this is how I would do it.   Its low on the radar.  The scam may go on for years or forever for that matter.

Senator Fossil FineGold

Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010

Hi

I am Senator Fossil FineGold.  I get tired from my work in the senate self promoting and giving the reaches across the isle but not too tired to bash a fellow republican.

I am the most senatorial of ex presidential candidates.

I may not have been very tough on Barack Obama but I was on my fellow republicans!

Senator Fossil ran his flacid presidential campaign with an eye towards retaining his senate seat that he has sat in so long it now form fits to his behind.   If he had been as tough on Barrack Obama as he is on JD Hayworth I might take him more seriously.  Now he starts acting more like a conservative because he has a primary challenge.  This leads me to ask:  Which political Halloween mask will he be wearing after November 2010???  He sometimes appears to act out of principle. Unfortunately the highest principle he operates off of appears to be reelection.

Senator Flacid could have won the 2008 presidential election had he merely had the courage of conviction and voted against the bailout.  But that would have left some of the nobel elites to fail and made way for new blood and new ideas.  That does not square with his persona.  Now instead of being adults and taking our knocks we are riding a trajectory that will have us augering in economically in the mid teens because a chuckle headed president thinks he can spend our way to prosperity.

If Senator Fossil would spend more time being a conservative instead of pretending to be one he would not have a primary challenger.  If reelected which one of the faces from his collection will he wear?

Senator Fossil ran a lame presidential campaign with an eye towards retaining his precious senate seat.  Now he goes after JD Hayworth with more gusto than he did against Barrack Obama and unmitigated socialist.

Senator Fossil was glad to try to force JD Hayworth off of the air claiming he was running a campaign off of the airwaves.  How should we feel about him running his campaign out of his position in the Senate???  Oh I see campaign free speech only applies when HE is doing it.  Sounds like a liberal to me.  Free to speak when I agree with what they say.  Shut up otherwise!

NCO Financial Systems Bill Collections agency 866-849-2438

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010

Google Search for NCO Bill Collection

Good Article about these people:   NCO Financial Systems, Incorporated: Are Illegal Debt Collection Practices Too Common?

I found out about these people because they called at 9 am every morning.  I finally called the number back in an effort to insure that no identity theft was involved.  I do not live on credit so there was no reason for them to be calling.  When I got an attendent on the line she hung up on me when I refused to supply my phone number.  This was repeated 3 times.  She finally confirmed it was a bill collection agency.  I then supplied the number and she asked "Does Juanita SoAndSo live there?"  Of course she did not so I promptly ordered her not to call again.

There number is 866-849-2438   in case you want to call and let them know you do not approve of their behavior.

Do not trust skype VOIP phone service with your credit card information

Thursday, January 14th, 2010

Over a year and a half ago I used my credit card to buy some skype calling credit for my Brazilian girlfriend.  I clicked on the 1 time only setup and even forced the system to ask for a password for my credit card.  A year after this supposedly one time only payment my now exgirlfriend started using skype alot and ended up that skype charged the calls to this same credit card.

Skype is a slippery company that can not be trusted.  Under no circumstances trust them with any information that can be used to automatically bill you.

Apparent Fraud by the High Priests of Global Warming

Monday, November 23rd, 2009

A fellow mentioned in this video is Jonathan Overpeck.  He is at the University of Arizona – Department of Geosciences.  He is the fellow who mentioned in the global warming fraud emails that they needed to get rid of the medieval warming period.

I googled him and just for interests sake and found his email = jto@u.arizona.edu .  What ever you do…do not email him asking him to modify the weather for upcoming events in the future.   He can only change past weather.

Presentation Title: Social Engineering Fundamentals Presentation Details: “You might say there are two specialties within the job classification of con artist. Somebody who swindles and cheats people out of their money belongs to one sub-specialty, the grifter. Somebody who uses deception, influence, and persuasion against businesses, usually targeting their information, belongs to the other sub-specialty, the social engineer.” -Kevin Mitnik In today’s world confidence scams present quite possibly the highest threat to security with in the business world. Removable label approach

Avery 58164 Shipping labels. There are 150 “repositionable” labels per package and they are only 12 bucks.  24 bucks means 300 stickers to place around town. Quick, no messy glue and they are removable. They are only 3 1/3″ by 4″ but I like that because you can just put a couple side by side anywhere.

Video: Andrew Marrs History of Modern Britain 1945 to 2007

Sunday, July 19th, 2009

This is more an economic and political history of Britain than anything else.  The economic and political epochs of Britain are covered with nothing else talked about.  Even cultural events mentioned have strong bearing on economics with an example being a massive party that was the prototype rave.  Raves of this type are pay for entry models and more an economic effort than a party as much as they are talked up to the opposite.

Britain was on the edge of bankruptcy at the end of world war 2.  They owed money to the USA and at the same time they wanted to undertake a huge welfare effort including socialized medicine.  Sound familiar?   Sounds like the USA to me in 2009 under Obama. If you have interest in economics you need to watch all 5 of these shows.  In many ways the USA appears to be squarely on the same path as this has been empire.

…..And just so you know Britain paid off the last of the loans from this era in the 2000’s.

From video description: Britain in 1945; the country is victorious but nearly bankrupt. As Clement Attlee’s Labour government sets out to build ‘New Jerusalem’, Britain is forced to hold out the begging bowl in Washington. Though Ealing Studios produces a series of very British comedies and there is a spirit of hope in the air, the British people’s growing impatience with austerity threatens to take the country from bankruptcy to self-destruction.

Socialized medicine block diagram Org Chart

Wednesday, July 15th, 2009

This is the organ chart of socialized medicine.  It has kidneys, spleens, liver and onions and a whole lot of other organs your body does not.

Congressmen must be very good engineers.  The reason I say this is because as an engineer I feel there is very little chance I could mathematically model the chances of success.  In fact more often than not when machines are this complicated they fail often and hard.  Thus I can only conclude that congressmen are smarter than I am.  In fact they must be demigods.  A god something bigger than Mercury and less than Jupiter.  And on a final note you maybe wondering where you are on this map of the corpus governmentus.  You reside on the rings around Uranus.  And thus you can assume the worse.  The flavor of the day will never change.

….. or you could be being hornswaggled.
