A MarketPlace of Ideas                        

Everywhere you look these days you can see elected Republicans running the white flag up the pole.  Frankly I do not know why.  I understand that maybe they realize that their base is not the weak minded and the elite who protects their buying power by keeping their minions ignorant regarding economic concepts as is the Dems pervue.   But that should encourage them.  For years now the Dems have been fighting a rear guard action.  And to be sure they have done a good job if you disregard how bad and misguided their policies are for the country. 

At this point the goal should be to stymie and flumox all efforts Democrat.  This isn’t hard to do.  The Senate shuts down if their is not some sort of consensus.  The president can veto.

What is it about these so called elected Republicans?  Why are they so apparently feckless? 

I can see no good explaination as to why they can not muster and courage and willpower.  Are they personally so flatulant in character that this is all there is to them ?

I am not ready to accept at this early point in time that they all can be so needy of adulation as is the case with Arnold Schwarzenegger.  Him I can understand. Bodybuilding is a massively vain sport, er and acting is not much better.  But when you come to regular run of the mill politician I just can not believe this is all they got….

Is it that all politicians are basically cut from the same shabby cloth of character ?  That power is the be all end all ?   Do they have no moral fiber?    At this point its like some puppetmaster behind the scenes has decided its time to swing socialist with the dem-lib policies.  That global warming will expand their grip on our society.  I do not actually believe there is some cigar smoking fatman in a rubber Harkonen flying suit controlling our society.  However I do believe there is possibly a statistical model that governs the behaviors of large groups. 

An example of this sort of statistical differential equation that governs a large group can be seen in the works of Scott Adams “Dilbert”.  This cartoon explores the verities of life and career at any large corporation in the United States. The reason why Dilbert is so very funny is that its true.  There is some magic number wherein if the Personel count > Ncritical then the behavior of the company internally approaches the reality of the Dilbert comic strip. 

I have personal proof of this postulate.  I have worked at 2 startup companies and 3 large corporations.  As the startups grow they pass from the early phase where they are fun and novel to work at into the large corporation phase where they are definitely not fun to work at.  Each time I saw this progression it converged to the same reality.  The Dilbert reality.

Is there a likewise set of equations governing behavoir at the national level of our government?  I suspect so. 

Its going to be a bad year for anyone with any practical sense to watch unfold.  These dems are certifiably nuts. 

I always wonder if the only thing holding us conservatives back from a 10 million man march on Washington DC is that we actually have real jobs and feel the responsibility to do them.   I think its time to go Farrakhan on this.   We need to shut down every last policy these dems are going to attempt to install.
