I bought 3 of these on Ebay because they have the requisite resolution, display port, HDMI and they are cheap when you buy they are listed without the base.  One caveat: They are heavy indeed compared to other monitors such as the LGs that I have been using.

AMOI: Light Weight LCD Monitors

I want very light weight LCD's that can travel with me to Brazil.

Research Links

• LG E2281VR-BN – reputed to be only 6 lbs. 22 inch diagonal.  
• LG E2442T-BN – Looks quite a bit heavier.  Both these LG models are very thin.  I have not been able to confirm they have the standard VESA mount holes on the back.
