Installing WordPress download package on an Ubuntu box with LAMP

The general skeleton of the procedure:   WordPress Installation on Ubuntu with LAMP

• file names are case sensitive – change to desktop directory then do the dir command to make sure you see the wordpress archive file in your desktop folder
