Install Steps

1.  Install Required Scanning Software:     sudo apt update && sudo apt install sane-utils xsane simple-scan
2. Connect the Scanner
3. Verify the Scanner is Detected:  scanimage -L
4. Once detected, open your application menu, search for Document Scanner (Simple Scan) or XSane, and begin scanning

Notes

• Tried installing the Canon driver. It could not find dependencies
• SANE install worked.   Simple scanner worked.  On Mint Linux
