Coffee Pot Fix

I need to get back to my tools in Ohio.  I am fishing stuff out of the trash to fix just to get handsy.

Notes

1. Measured element through switch  = 78 ohms
2. Measured element directly = 38 ohms
3. Pot is rated at 1000W
4. 220 on 38 ohms = 1270 Watts
5. Switch was reading >50 ohms.  
6. Sprayed switch with WD40 and it is acting better … for now. 
7. Base is missing so I will wire an AC cord
