Euro Bank Notes Used in Payment for Ebay Auction

I listed some RF / microwave switches on ebay to flush them out of here so I don't have to move them for the 6th time. A guy in Italy bought them.  I received an email from him saying he would pay for them by sending money in a "sluice".  I guess there must be an Italian word for envelop similar to this word sluice.  Several months later the package returned to me.  This can happen sometimes if you do not pay the import taxes they return the item to the source.   I attempted to contact through ebay email but I never heard from him again.  I felt bad as he seemed to be a nice and trustworthy fellow.
