Theory And Application Of Transistors By US Department Of Army Document TM 11-690

I had a book when I was in high school that I tried to teach myself transistor theory from. It was published by Dover books. Dover seemed to have all the nerdy stuff that had gone out of print. This book was: Basic Theory And Application Of Transistors By US Department Of Army. It was kind of set up for rote learning. I think I permanently damaged myself with it because I am so not Army / rote.   I tried repeatedly to learn transistors from this book.  Again and again I found myself waking up with this book over my face.

If I would have noticed the original title was: “TM 11-690” I might have figured out it was the long sought cure for insomnia. I had this version:

As poorly laid out as it was I now see there is an earlier document version that looks like it was a direct issue from the Army.  TM 11-690.
