Learning Portuguese: Another Language Learning Trick

I like to listen to music in attempts to learn the rythm of word / sentence pronounciation.  Music is naturally very rythmic and the natural tendency to hum the music is a painless way to get the repetition required to memorize words and pronounciation.  Have you ever noticed how singers whom English is a second language seem to do so well speaking English?

You can listen to Brazilian Radio Stations by going to this page.  This is part of how I’ve learned portuguese.

Or Download and listen to some original Brazilian music here

Chocolate Jesus Artist:Lets see what you got, Sculpt a Chocolate Mohammed Statue OR Profit in Chocolate

We get artificial flavored controversy from the artist who sculpted a chocolate Jesus.  I think its safe to say that this guy took absolutely no risks doing this.  All he is doing is poking a stick at bears in cages.

I challenge this man to sculpt a chocolate Mohammed.  NOW THERE would be something on the edge.  Let’s see you do that you attention starved whimp!  Then lets see the same people who want to display the chocolate Jesus display the chocolate Mohammed.   Who says there’s not profit in chocolate.  If you really want to impress me wear this shirt while you explain your work.

Ah I see, you want to prove the people who DO NOT kill you are intolerant by making them complain.  I’m sure the reason why you don’t do Mohammed is your sensitivity towards muslims.  Meaning your sensitivity to the fact that you run a big risk of being killed.  Why don’t you take on someone who’s TRULY intolerant like muslims or liberal / socialist / democrat party / communists?  Ah I see….because you probably are one.

I am athiest and unimpressed by your lack of creativity.

Book Review-Feynman Lectures on Physics-INDESPENSIBLE

 feynman-lectures-on-physics.jpg

For those of you who enjoy physics this is a must have.  Its one of the most fun reads ever.  Not so many equations and a WHOLE LOT of understanding.  ( Feynman is on my favorite jew list ).  For you posers who believe in MMGW read all 3 volumes of the Feynman lectures on physics then come back and talk to me.  I still won’t believe in MMGW, and you won’t either.

When I originally bought my 3 volume set in 1994 they cost 100 USD per book.  Now you can get some of the paperback 3 volume sets for a total of 60 USD on Amazon.

Family Practice Game: Automatons grab OPC for their Website(Other Peoples Content)-Hilarity Ensues

Some websters must be automatically grabbing arty’s with keywords and stuffing an exerpt into their website with the purpose of grabbing more traffic.

Here is an example:

http://familypracticeblogs.info/spot-the-hooker-a-game-the-whole-family-can-play/

This I found today only 1 day after writing the original article here:

http://www.amarketplaceofideas.com/spot-the-hooker-a-game-the-whole-family-can-play.htm

So they detected the keywords ”whole family” “game” or whatever combination of words from the original and placed it up on their FAMILY PRACTICE blog.  This blog appears to be a big google ad syndicator site for all things in the family practice theme.

Thus they are now promoting the great game of spot the hooker to the family crowd.  I had a belly laugh at this because I’m pretty sure spot the hooker is not exactly what mom and dad have in mind when they go for a fun little evening drive with the children.  Maybe I should put out the board game before this gets too popular and I miss the peak of the sales curve.

Of course I put what I thought were the most important key words from that original article in the title of this entry for the express purpose of seeing if I could get them to do it again.
