It is a beautiful site to me. Man triumphing over nature. Surpassing the bounds of time and distance. And it does it at the high efficiency of approximately 75 miles per gallon. Airliners travel in partial vacuum and thus loss to to air friction / resistance is much lower at altitude. Airliners of the future will operate at even higher altitudes to gain efficiency. Yet members of the MMGW religion think I should take the bus.

In regards Airlines the most important salient point of their behavior is their manifest anti global trade agenda. Its evident they have come to the conclusion that if they can stifle air travel they can at very least suppress the rate of globalization.
I should know about this. When I first came to Brazil in 2003 and 2004 I paid for the trips selling a particular Brazilian plumbing product I found here at a very cheap price. Of course at the time I would rate myself as the lowest level business person. As I gain independence the control of others over HOW, WHERE and WHY I live in a particular locations diminishes. It becomes harder to socially engineer my life in their efforts to control it
Globalism is allowing for a type of mobility of business that anti capitalists hate. In the past they have only had to deal their Stalinist techniques to local static communities. Doing this is much more easy than mobile dynamic communities. An analogy would be the study of the math of mechanical statics and mechanical dynamics. It is the difference between designing a race car statue and designing a race car. Once the parts start spinning and whirring the engineering gets alot more complicated. These anti capitalist types are simple types. They want control on the cheap and thus they hate globalization. In fact if they were not so very simple minded they would not be democrat-party / socialist / communists. They would be libertarians finding a better place to live like yours truly. Imagine if everyone on Earth were living as I out of a suit case. Free to go locations where quality of life is good. Where I all can easily flee the control of the controlling. Stalinists will find themselves completely out of business.
The MMGW anti capitalists think if they can slow down the rate of air travel and increase the costs of air cargo transport they can diminish the rate of globalization.
Here’s some news for you socialists: The internet is your worst enemy. The people in Brazil are not interested in your farce. They want improvements in their lives. They want a car and a house. They want electricity and communication at a reasonable market based price. I’m going to help give it to them.
