It’s not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations

Let’s deconstruct Barack H. Obamas comment about small townies 1- It’s not surprising, then, they get bitter, 2- they cling to guns 3- or religion or 4- antipathy to people who aren’t like them or 5- anti-immigrant sentiment or 6-anti-trade sentiment as 7- a way to explain their frustrations   1- For the most part people are not bitter excepting tin foil hat preachers like Rev Wright who is your pastor…. 2- so if you cling to your constitutionally guaranteed rights you are bitter and a crank…..Look in the mirror Mr Barrack H. Obama.  They’re clinging to exactly what they should with ambitious usurpers of freedom like you on the prowl 3-religion: I’m atheist but I allow that others can have belief’s different from me without be bitter lemons!  How about you B.O. ? 4- antipathy?  Maybe towards people they think will be added in as line items in their taxes due to Democrat / socialist / communist party policies in Washington D.C. 5- Anti Immigrant?  You think we’re so thick we can’t see through Dem party policies designed to enhance the number of voters registering democrat ? duh…. give me a farkin break. 6-anti trade? - woops this is going to get your in trouble B.O.  Its your team that make up the tin foil hat wearers brigade against trade 7- Frustrated? Maybe with dolts like you thinking they’re so damned dumb they can’t see through you like a picture window! Try again Barrack.  Try again

Popeye the Sayler Man

Saturday, April 12th, 2008

The origin of Saler man is when I was talking to a Brazilian friend whose English is very good if you consider he has never been to an English speaking country.  He tried to say a person was a salesman.  "He is a Saylor-Man" was how it came out.  Ever since then I call salesmen sailor men. On a side note we were driving down a highway in Brazil and we drove past an attractive young lady selling her body to people by the side of the highway.  He saw here and said "she’s a road horse"…which was pretty funny considering we’d just driving past some horses tied up in such a fashion as to clip the grass while eating it.
