Icarus CarPi CarBerry – CarPuter Informatic Devices to Replace your car radio

This effort has been superceded again as was the last because it appears the Chinese have made several variants of their own leaving this particular design orphaned by the originators.  I can not get a response from them regarding if the project is still active.  I have also seen a person in their forum that needs help getting his software installed complaining he can not reach anyone.

Kodi Krypton with Exodus Plugin Running on FireStick

A friend mentioned they use the following combination for video / entertainment

  • Kodi Krypton  –  Kodi (formerly XBMC) is a free and open source media player application developed by the XBMC/Kodi Foundation
  • Wikipedia: Kodi
  • Exodus plugin  – better us the VPN option
  • FireStick – It is an Amazon product so like the Amazon it is likely full of gigantic pythons squeezing your privacy
