Iraq,There are Similarities to Vietnam but they are not what you think

I have a theory.  It goes like this.  Nixon did some things, not too awful but still not acceptable in that he covered up. This is obstruction of justice and why both he and Clinton were tagged albeit in different ways by the acts.   However Johnson and his ballet box stuffing ways of a corrupt Texas politician were much worse.  The west maintained some wild and woolly practices alot longer than the east.  ( or not ).   My theory is that Nixon was hung out to dry because he “lost” the Vietnam War.  Because of this congress being filled with hyenas Read more…

Law Enforcement in The Age of Globalization, The Libertarian Advantage

Its in the news that the US Government is in the process of being an defacto enforcer for the Mafia.  The US Government is in the process of trying to enforce laws against online gambling.  The mob bosses must not be getting their cut of the action or the Democrats theirs, but I repeat myself.   The excerpt below summarizes the enforcement activities. excerpted arty: http://business.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,13129-2559839,00.html  Senior bankers and leading politicians have attacked demands from the American Department of Justice for British bankers to hand over details of their dealings with online gambling companies outlawed in the US. After calls on the British Read more…

Time after Time the Bias is Obvious, Now its Time for Right-Sizing!

Its a good thing for the country liberal strongholds like Time Magazine are being fumigated to run out the liberal rats.  Time after time they’ve been biased and purveyed the socialist agenda.   As with many of the other liberal outlets of news information there is an over supply of them.  Add on top of that the obsolescence of print media and you have a virtuous cycle of liberal dinosaurs in decline including the likes of the NY Times.  They had a virtual monopoly for years.  Now finally we have the shake out.  Its high time.  They haven’t really had anything original to say in Read more…

Any Taxes on Oil are DIRECTLY Passed on to Consumer Meaning YOU!

Oil companies are for profit entities! woo yeah and that is a good thing.  The highest form of social behavior is business when done honestly.  Due to careful accounting this is a one of the few forms of human behavior that has a decent objective metric placed on it.  Therefore its easier to expose and right wrongs.  In contrast socialism ( think democrat) is of course all about not having enough visibility on behavior and therefore enabling market inefficiencies that benefit their cronies. In the specific case of oil if you raise taxes on oil this cost is going to be directly passed Read more…

The New American BlackList Contains the Names of Global Warming Skeptics

At least previous time we had a blacklist in the USA there was some tangible reason for it.  Communists really did exist. Stalin really did do some awful things.  America really was in a struggle for the destiny of the world for the future.  There was some shred of rationality to what was done.  I’m not saying you should practice this sort of thing.  In fact I’m saying you should avoid it.  Now we have another budding blacklist.   People who do not believe the Global Warming Hype.  Here’s another reason NOT to be liberal.  When they have a blacklist its obviously simply because they want to Read more…

How to Spot Bullshit Lesson #1: Socially responsible investing at 10% of Mutual Funds?

I saw this on demi-headline on Yahoo financial:   Social, Green Indexes For Activist Investors Socially responsible investing, or SRI, funds had grown to 9.4% of the $24.4 trillion invested in mutual funds in the U.S. by 2005, according to the Social Investment Forum, an industry group in Washington. A handful of SRI exchange traded funds cater to investors who want to put their money where their values are. When you see something like this the little red idiot light in your head that indicates a high bullshit content in your mind should be flashing wildly and the incessant beeping of that Read more…

The Vulcan Candidate, Are we going to see more of Kucinich? Appears we are, Beam me up!

–I’d worry about hate mail from Kucinich supporters but Vulcans don’t have emotions do they?— When the democrats say they are going to push a “progressive” program you can let your mind replace the word automatically in your head with antique, regressive and thoroughly bone-headed. Below italics exerpted from original arty here: http://www.fmqb.com/Article.asp?id=333927 Over the weekend, the National Conference for Media Reform was held in Memphis, TN, with a number of notable speakers on hand for the event. Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) made an surprise appearance at the convention to announce that he would be heading up a new House subcommittee which will Read more…

Google Adwords seem to have Very Little Traction to Me

I have used Google Adwords and gave it a serious try. I spent about 2000 USD on them and really what it appears to me is that most of the clickage is click fraud. Mind you for purposes of covering my arse this is only my opinion. So google if you are reading this you can’t sue for an honest opine. I think Google stock is going lose its shine. At some point people are going to be going back to Yahoo for this sort of stock play.  We’ll see in the fullness of time won’t we?

Martin Luther King Class Act but do not Emulate his Political Philosophies

Emulate his classy soft spoken nature. Emulate his charm and charisma.  Listening closely to what MLK said I am left feeling he was borderline communist in political philosophy. Be sucka free. Leave the socialist and leftist policy behind.  While he was trying to alleviate suffering in the end socialism ( the democrat party) causes more damage and suffering than any weapon ever created by man. Emulate his class and charm and by derivative you emulate Ghandi.  Not bad.
