Construction Hoist Design with SpreadSheet
I need to lift 750 square feet of hard wood flooring to the second floor of my house and it requires quite a few trips even to just lift a single wheel barrow load which is about 30 square feet. Each barrow load of approximately 30 square feet weighs about 110 pounds. The hoist will be over designed for this application so it can be used later for other heavier things. It is constructed with 2×4 and 2×6. In order to use it you will need some way of fixing it to the floor. I will be using Spax screws to afix mine to the wooden planking of the attic.
Thus I am going to install a construction hoist in the attic so I can hoist to the second floor. I will put photos of it here when done.
