In a pressure cooker stir fry 3 or 4 strips of bacon, 2 onions and whatever pepper form you prefer.  I like a few jalapeños, black and red pepper flakes.  (But be careful, pressure cooking will intensify chemical heat.)Now add 3 or 4 cups of chicken broth – preferably already seasoned from when you cooked it up – less thyme or any ghey stuff Yankees put in it…..Cook for 23 minutes and quick release.  Pairs well with a grilled porkchop, cheese grits – and, no, that's not tasteless grits with cheese on top – that's proper cheese grits.  And black eyed or purple hull peas.  Again, properly seasoned and cooked…..Edit:  for the love of all things good, cut the blasted stems out before cooking…
