I have discovered an interesting fact about the weather. There is a correspondence between cold weather in Arizona and warm weather in Ohio and vice versa. It is due to the jet stream. When the jet stream dips far down and brings cold weather to Arizona it has time to warm up. It then oscillates back north carrying with it warmer air to the eastern USA.
