    Why don’t you try http://www.sitemile.com/classifiedTheme.php
    it is very easy to use, does not need any installation, just copy and run

    It is not open source and therefore not going to have the same horsepower behind new development of the scripts. I already wrote my own PERL scripts for a classified site so I know the dynamic very well !

    So sorry but COST was not the quoted issue. The central issue is what development horsepower will be behind a purchased module? Only you. Not a huge community that comes with open source.

    yes but current users can customize things and create modules for it, create mods, etc
    There is already a support forum at http://www.sitemile.com/forums that will help users meet and discuss their thoughts show their mods, etc

    I think “TheYoodle” Word Press Classifieds Plugin is a lot better.
