This is a list that I am starting so that I can tally all the scientists that believe that  MMGW is not happening.

Every since the airing on Channel 4 in England and on YouTube of the “GREAT GLOBAL WARMING SWINDLE” I have noticed a decrease in the amount of people claiming the science of MMGW is settled and ALL the scientists agree.  The fact is the honest ones do not agree with the church of the robed MMGW priests.

Note added 4-30-2007 : There appears to be an uptick in the amount of scientists quoting MMGW to be bankrupt theory reported in the print and online media.  I wonder if the cynical press is reading the tea leaves and getting out ahead of the MMGW hoax before its exposed by the USA media airing of THE GREAT GLOBAL WARMING SWINDLE.

Tim Patterson Professor of Geology at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario

I think the proof in the pudding, based on what (media and governments) are saying, (is) we’re about three quarters of the way (to disaster) with the doubling of CO2 in the atmosphere,” said Patterson. “The world should be heating up like crazy by now, and it’s not. The temperatures match very closely with the solar cycles.” Patterson explained CO2 is not a pollutant, but an essential plant food. Billions of taxpayers’ dollars are spent to control the emissions of this benign gas, in the mistaken belief that they can stop climate change, he said. “The only constant about climate is change,” said Patterson.

William Gray  Ph.D., is a pioneer in the science of forecasting hurricanes.
Gray believes that the current warming in the past decades is a natural cycle, driven by a global ocean circulation that manifests itself in the North Atlantic as the Gulf Stream. Warm water and cool water essentially rise and fall in a rhythm lasting decades. But when pressed on his theory of how thermohaline circulation has caused recent warming of the planet and will soon cause cooling, he concedes that he hasn’t published the idea in any peer-reviewed journal. He’s working on it, he says.

Roy Spencer  is a principal research scientist for University of Alabama in Huntsville. In the past, he served as Senior Scientist for Climate Studies at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Dr. Spencer is the recipient of NASA’s Medal for Exceptional Scientific Achievement.   In an interview with conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh on February 28, 2007, Spencer stated that he doesn’t believe “catastrophic manmade global warming” is occurring. He also criticized climate models, saying “The people that have built the climate models that predict global warming believe they have sufficient physics in those models to predict the future. I believe they don’t. I believe the climate system, the weather as it is today in the real world shows a stability that they do not yet have in those climate models

Martin Hertzberg, PhD: As Hertzberg says, water in the form of oceans, snow, ice cover, clouds and vapor “is overwhelming in the radiative and energy balance between the Earth and the sun…. Carbon dioxide and the greenhouse gases are, by comparison, the equivalent of a few farts in a hurricane.” And water is exactly that component of the Earth’s heat balance that the global warming computer models fail to account for.

Reid BrysonFaithful Heretic – holds the 30th PhD in Meteorology granted in the history of American education. Emeritus Professor and founding chairman of the University of Wisconsin Department of Meteorology—now the Department of Oceanic and Atmospheric Sciences—in the 1970s he became the first director of what’s now the UW’s Gaylord Nelson Institute of Environmental Studies. He’s a member of the United Nations Global 500 Roll of Honor—created, the U.N. says, to recognize “outstanding achievements in the protection and improvement of the environment.” He has authored five books and more than 230 other publications and was identified by the British Institute of Geographers as the most frequently cited climatologist in the world.

All this argument is the temperature going up or not, it’s absurd,” Bryson continues. “Of course it’s going up. It has gone up since the early 1800s, before the Industrial Revolution, because we’re coming out of the Little Ice Age, not because we’re putting more carbon dioxide into the air.”

James WanlissERAU professor seeks balance in global warming debate – States that the debate is anything but scientific.  Claims to be sitting on the fence regarding MMGW. Showed both Great Global Warming Swindle and Inconvenient Truth in the same class.  I assume he did the latter for cover.  My feeling is he doesn’t want the trouble that comes with being full on anti MMGW.  You decide.
