I know a friend of a friend who is working during the week in Las Vegas. Several large projects are going bust in bankruptcy and alot of the people there are not paying their mortgages. When the people not paying their mortgages they note that none of them have paid their mortgages in monthes but yet the bank has not contacted any of them.
Also reported was that it used to be hard to get a flight from/to Las Vegas from Phoenix. There used to be a flight every 40ish minutes. Now there is a flight only every 3 hours and you can get a seat.
Las Vegas is going bust. I never saw the appeal to Los Vegas. I guess in a difficult economy other people don’t either.
