You pray at the alter of Global Warming and Environmentalism.  Your religion can not possibly be false.  This can not possibly be a scam by researchers who get more money for their research ONLY if there is a topic of import to research.  Yes you are convinced Global Warming is a hard fast solid unquestionable reality. Ok.  I accept that. Now I want you to demonstrate your faith.  Those of you Coastal Liberals with seaside property this is your chance.  In a scant 20 years your property will be under water due to rising sea levels.  At that point it will be worthless.  Now is your chance…….Sell your property to me.   I will offer you 10% of its current appraised value.  Its a great deal for you as the land is soon to be submerged.  10% is much better than nothing at all. You can email me any time.  I will be on the next plane.  Deposit required before I jump a jet……you libs like to change the rules to suit yourself.

Could be a disaster either way. Consider also the possibility that coastal land could be 100 miles inland in the event of another ice age…

I spent a few minutes and found a beachfront Malibu home for 2 million. So, you're offering to buy it for200,000 and live there for 20 years. That’s 10,000 per year or833 per month, which is approximately the typical rent for a generic suburban apartment (like what we see in the movie “Office Space”). What a generous offer!

It was kind of rhetorical. I guess I should have done the math first! LOL .. Ok … how about 400,000 for the property Mr. Tom the Accountant.

I’m willing to take you up on this offer. I own a cabin on the beach in Washington state. It is appraised at 1.5 million. Please email me if you are serious.

Jake, I will take that offer. Contact me through the email address I provided (the webmaster can verify you are the Jake that created that post) with the particulars of your property and we can seal this deal by the end of the month.

I live in Dallas and would love to pick up some cheap land on the coast. TX, LA, or FL only. So if you have a nice place in a nice area same deal 10 percent of appraised value since it’s going to be underwater soon anyway. ;0)

Why would I sell you my land for below market value? If some other fool is willing to pay 95% of appraised value and you are only willing to pay 10%, you lose. Even if I am convinced that it will be underwater, why would I be so irrational as to sell to something other than the highest bidder? You clearly think that those who “believe” are stupid.

You are right … they are stupidish. That’s the point. Or maybe their dissembling is the point. First its an emergency and now as you say its not an emergency ( mmgw that is )…. you should make up your mind. Which is it?

[…] Global Warming Challenge Part II : Subsidy of Carbon Usage if World Temperatures fall By webmaster Global Warming Challenge Part I  consisted of my challenge to coastal property owning liberals and global warming adherents.  I proposed me buying their land at 10% market value since global warming guarantees their land to be swamped by rising sea levels very shortly.
